Forget what you know about raindrops that fall from the darkened sky and think about it as spiritual teardrops....The water that is shed from above is not rain but teardrops from the dead who are mourning those of us who are still living. They can hear our pain, hear our cries in the middle of the night, and see the chaos that we deal with on a daily basis. They mourn us for they were the lucky ones who got away.
So now every time it rains, just think of it as the spirits mourning the living and the crazy lives we live.
