My 8 (almost 9) year old son has been begging to get his ear pierced for quite some time. And honestly, I'm not all that against the idea of letting him, but I keep getting really funny looks when its brought up around any one else. The way I look at it, is that if he likes it, great...if he doesnt, it isnt really any big deal is it? it will just heal back. I try to let him and my other son do things to express them selves, as long as they arent harmful (ex. my oldest just got a mohawk).
So, should I go ahead and let him get it pierced?
