I guess this is the place where everyone is supposed to put their best foot forward and talk about how wonderful they are without relaying all the evils hidden behind our cute little smiles.... Well, reality check - I'm too honest for that. I have a heart of gold until you piss me off. I am a very emotional person, and take things too seriously sometimes. I have a great sense of humour and I love to laugh, and I can laugh at myself over a great deal of things - my intelligence is not one of them. I'm a strong believer in building a solid foundation on trust, not just with romantic relationships but with friendships as well. In my book trust is given until I am given a reason not to trust anymore, and then at that point trust is not regained easily. I can hold a grudge for a very long time. I will do anything (legal) for my friends and loved ones, and I kind of expect the same from others. I suppose that's not fair to expect because some people just aren't wired that way. When I was younger I used to have a jealous streak a mile wide, then one day it occured to me.. If someone is going to cheat, that's what they're going to do and there is not a damn thing you can do to change that. You can try and keep someone prisoner, you can check on their every movement, but if they're that determined it's going to happen. I personally am a very loyal person. If I find myself ready to cheat, that tells me the relationship I'm in isn't working anymore and it's time move on. I think everyone has been hurt before, and if you haven't may God bless you! But whether it's been in a relationship, or a frendship, I think we've all been at this juncture where we're so deeply hurt we're besides ourselves. I have personally never taken anyone back that's cheated on me, the whole broken trust thing. Some people can move on from infidelity, sorry to say I just can't forgive like that, character defect - probably. Well, there's alot more in this twisted little head mine that'll share at a later date.
