I was hanging out with my 10 year old daughter.
A car pulled up blaring profanity. I asked the fellow to turn it down so she couldn't hear.
Yes, I do listen to music that contains vulgarity, but I don't let her hear. Nor do I let her watch inappropriate stuff. I also do't listen to things in public that might offend others. Is it too much to ask for the same?
Should I have spoken up, or kept my mouth shut?
I'd really like to hear your thoughts on this.
