- I have been called a racist just because I am white. I have been called a racist just because I am from Kentucky. I have been called a racist just because I believe in GOD and think homosexuality is wrong. How people turned a sexual Preference into a race issue is beyond me but I have talked to many who equate it with a race issue, Go Figure. I have been called a racist just because I have more conservative leaning political views. Well let's address this issue. I am more than sure I will be cursed out for this but I am going to say it anyway. If you are offended or if you have your feelings hurt, OH well, sorry about your personal affliction. There is no law which says you can go through life never being offended or embarrassed or never having your feelings hurt and you people who try to force the government to outlaw everything that offends you or hurts your feelings need to come back to planet earth and realize that the Government can not legislate your personal happiness.You people who feel that the government should provide your living for you no matter what color your skin is.Do us all a favor.Deal with your own happiness,get your hands out of my pay check, and stop trying to force your PC garbage on me.Charity is a great thing but know this, Charity is given not taken. Now to the issue at hand. First: People need to examine history. Not just the History of the people who share their skin color but the history of all people. There is not one color of people on the face of the planet who have not at one time been slaves and there is not one color of people who have not at one time owned slaves. Yes even black people have owned slaves and even white people have been slaves. In fact, white slavery is the largest slave trade on earth today. So making the living pay for what the dead did is unrealistic and sadistic. We can not as a people move forward if we expect the living to pay for the bad deeds of the dead. Fact: In America today there is not one person who has been a slave and not on who has owned a slave. Not in today's America. Not for a long,long time. Do I feel guilty for the bad deeds of my ancestors? NO and I never will because I was not here at that time so I had no personal hand in it. All I am obligated to feel guilty about is my own mistakes in life. So stop talking to me like I owe you something because of history. If you want to go back in history and make the living pay for what the dead did, then by all means, give me my money for the thousands of years the Gentiles were held in slavery in Egypt. Yes the Gentiles were white people.Give the Jewish people their money for the thousands of years they were held in slavery in Egypt. The two peoples who were slaves for longer than anyone else. See how stupid that sounds. To expect the people of today, who try to be fair, to pay for the deeds of the dead. It is the most ridiculous thing ever. Now I know what I am going to hear from a lot of people who read this blog. I am going to hear the same old thing I always here. "You are a white women how could you know about oppression and discrimination in modern day America"? Well that is easy to explain. The key word here is WOMAN. Even in America no matter what your skin color is if you happen to be of the female gender you are paid less than men in most jobs in the civilian world, where most employers have some harebrained idea that if you are female then it automatically means you have a man somewhere paying your bills for you and you do not need to make equal pay. This is not a man bashing session because even Female employers do it. To make the assumption that because I am white I have never dealt with discrimination or oppression is a very naive statement to make. I have worked for 13 years for men from the Middle East,because they have bought almost every hotel in the country. Try being a women working for men who believe that women are born Intellectually and Physically Deficient and then tell me there is not oppression or discrimination against white women or white people for that matter. They see ALL women that way, skin color has nothing to do with it. White men have also dealt with discrimination in America being told they can not have a job because they do not fit the demographic of being a Minority and employers have a Minority quota to fill. That is oppression and discrimination in a box with a different wrapping,packaged differently, but still the box is filled with the same content. So for those men who will tell me that because I am a white woman I can not know about oppression. I can easily say to you that when you wake up in the morning with breast and a vagina then you can come and talk to me about what I know of oppression and discrimination. OK let's get right down to the fact about racists. I intend to show you that even if you think you are not a racists you really are. All people have those who are racists and those who are not. Being a racist does not mean you have to be white. Anyone can be a racist and the mass majority of people no matter what their skin color, are racist, even if they do not realize it and I will tell you how. There is only 1 race. The Human Race. Back people are not their own race. White people are not their own race. No one is their own race just because they have a different skin color. Maybe you believe in the bible, maybe you do not, but the fact is that most people in America believe in a religion. Okay let's view that aspect of it. Adam an Eve were the mother and father of all, which means we all came from the same mother and father regardless of skin color. Which means there is only 1 race. The Human race. So, if you believe that you are a different race than someone else just because you have a different skin color and if you teach your children that people are different races...Well my friend, that makes YOU a racist. So if you want to fight about slavery, stop fighting the slave owners of the past, stop demanding that the living pay for the deeds of the dead and start trying to put an end to the slavery that is going on in the world today.If you want to stop racism then stop teaching your children that there is more than one race. When that is done, maybe we can actually move forward as one people and stop expecting others to pay for the color of their own skin.
