What are you waiting for?

1) Any and ALL problems you may have will be presented to the DJ managers first. If it is not handled to your satisfaction, go to upper management. All issues should not be handled in the lounge under any circumstance. We keep ALL DRAMA out of the lounge. 2) No dissing or disrespecting ANYONE in the lounge, PERIOD. This includes criticism of the DJ's music. If you are having an issues with someone, get with your Manager to get help with the situation, We will not tolerate any misconduct in the Lounge. You will be silenced or kicked....staff or not. 3) Only MANAGERS will have the Kick Codes for the encoders, you must find a manager to kick the encoder, this is for security purposes. 4) You must be present and visible in the lounge during the entire time you are on air. I would ask that you ONLY be in our lounge and no other additional lounges when you are on air. When you are not on air, you can hang out in any lounge that you choose, this only applies to when you are on air. I would also ask that you are actively talking as much as possible in the lounge during your shift. If you need to walk away from your computer, make sure a DJ Manager, GM or Owner is aware. 5) If you are having buffering issues, DJing comes first, not the cams, not downloads and not running programs that are unnecessary. Please do not have gigatribe on during your shift...otherwise other DJ's pulling music can slow you down. If your computer can handle more, fine, if not, DJing should be your first priority. 6) You need to be signed into yahoo messenger as visible preferably with an ON AIR tag as your status. This is so it is easy to see who is on air for making requests easier and to let the next dj know who they are relieving. 7) You must take all requests that are asked for with the exception that you Understand that our policy is that we don't play sets of country one song at a time if someone requests country..not in a row. We do not play death metal at all. Please make sure that you are not playing any offensive music (aka kill so and so or m*tha f*ck this or that). If you do not have the song, contact another DJ online to get the song from. If no one is available explain to the person requesting the song that you don't have it but will try to get it. 8) You should NOT accept another song from anyone other than lounge staff when you are on air. This is due to the fact that a file could come through with a virus and be spread to the server. 9) If you are having issues while on air, contact a DJ Manager or owner immediately. All DJ's should contact the outgoing DJ 15 minutes prior to the start of their shift in order to make sure the transition is smooth and timely so that you are respecting their time as well. 10) Anyone that is not on air needs to have their encoders turned all the way off, with no auto pick up enabled. This is so that if someone drops air, someone’s auto does not pick up when they are not around and can not be taken off air without being kicked. When you are broadcasting on air, I would ask that you have your encoders set up for no less than 10 seconds. This is case there is ever a need to kick someone off air, anything less than that makes it very hard to kick off air. 11) The Policy for DJ's is a three strike policy. If you fail to contact a DJ manager, GM or owner when you are going to be late for your shift or you can't make your shift three times, you will be terminated. Only exceptions will be an real life emergencies if you notify management staff immediately. 12) Stay away from controversial subjects while on air. 13) Try and get the crowd involved. Shoutouts or whatever it takes.
