I went to the Orthopedic Surgeon yesterday about a knee injury from 4 yrs ago.Anyways He seen the MRI results from 4 yrs ago.I know what was wrong.He said I might also have a piece of broken cartilage floating in my knee causing the pain.He said he can do surgery if I wanted it have the broken pieces removed.Hers the thing,He never ordered a new MRI to see if that was indeed the problem.Should I tell him I want a new MRI done or go to another Doctor for a second opinion before I agree on having the surgery?
