I have not updated my about me in some time now, so here goes. I always have to start with the fact that I have an amazing teenager daughter. She's a freshman in highschool that takes all honors courses and pulls off nothing less than a B. She wants to be a forensic anthropologist. Where she gets her love for blood, guts and the disturbing I will never know. She has always been the kind of kid that I could never clean a scraped knee cause her nose was stuck in it examining it.. LOL . I wish I had her guts and determination when I was her age. She has no fear and even when she does, she refuses to show it. Nope.. so did not get that from me.



I have learned the hard way in this life to never take the ones close to you for granted and to treat every day like its your last with them. I am lucky to be surrounded by an amazing support system both online and off. I think life is too short to be sad and depressed. Life gets to us all, and knocks us down.. the trick is learning how to pick yourself up off the ground, dust off your knees and tell the world that its not defeating you.. not today :)



I don't mind hard work. I work two jobs, both of which I love very much. Don't get me wrong.. going to work sucks sometimes, cause it is work.. but I get to make people feel good about themselves, get to make them look better, feel better.. make them laugh. I wouldn't trade it for the world.. not even for the bachelors degree that I earned and said "What the hell do I do with it?" lol



I was raised on a farm.. born, bred and raised. I was raised knowing hard work and the value of a dollar. It's no surprise to me that my heart landed on a total country boy with the same values. xoxo Tex. I'm sure I will add to this, but thats about it for right now.. Stop by and say hi. ~~My mom has a picture of me at age 8 splattered with tar, helping building the foundation of the home of all memories~ the house that I grew up in.. nail by nail I helped it go up :D

~~Im terrified of horror movies, but crawling through a burning building on my belly in 3 inches of boiling water looking for bodies in pitch black doesnt scare me in the least. Nor does scaling the roof of a house with no harness

~~I have bungee jumped, and skydived

~~I refuse to buy an automatic car.. First car I drove was stick, thats what I choose to drive

~~I never carry grudges.. I believe its a waste of energy and will consume you slowly over time… I have a temper but I cool down as fast as I heat up

~~I wear my heart on my sleeve … once again dont confuse this with weakness.. I am the farthest thing from weak.. Body, mind and soul!

~~I donate blood faithfully every 8 weeks. I am not however an organ donor. I will take out of this world what I came in with.. selfish or not, its my choice and I have my reasons

~~I cannot and will not tolerate racism, or discrimination of any sort. If you are narrow minded, then I have no interest of having you in my life

~~I LOVE black jelly beans

~~My daughter gives me all her orange candies. If Im not with her, she saves them for me

~~Im a total 80s child and I miss my legwarmers, big hair and swatch watches.. lol

~~I love animals.. All kinds, furry, scaly, or feathered
