If you've spent any time around a developing child you are probably aware that the early programming on public television is like some form of kiddie crack (not in the poisonous narcotic way, but in the horribly addictive, try it once and you are hooked, sort of way). The moment you go to turn off the television it is temper tantrum time. "More More More," they cry.
If you were given the opportunity to spare parents and caregivers from one of these forms of torture what would it be.
Would you say goodbye to Barney the Purple Dinosaur and his sing / dancing friends? (Super D Duper)
Would you chop the last 20 minutes of Sesame Street every day and rid the world of Elmo's world. (La la la la. La la la la) |
