I was trained at The Defense Logistics Clothing Center to measure and fit female service members for custom made under garments(bras) and/or prosthetic breast/s; for cancer survivors. For seven and a half years I was the only one in ETO authorized to order and color match. I hated having to deal with the few teenage patients that I had. The class was a nightmare/hoot!!! I had just gotten married. What the hell was I going to tell my wife???? This was the Army's idea of light duty after I survived a wire strike in western Pennsylvania. YUP - I was the flying Santa Clause in ETO/NATO zone, as well as CONUS and Alaska.
