• Most guys aren’t even worth it.
• Boys that are good in bed are never good boys.
• Never wait by the phone. NEVER!
• Sometimes when you’re single it’s good to make your friends in relationships jealous.
• It’s ok to have a mouth on you that can make a sailor blush.
• Believe in second chances, but not thirds, because they usually cheat on you then, too.
• Fuck regrets, there’s no such thing.
• You can tell everything about a person by the way they kiss…..EVERYTHING.
• Know at least one person that you could end up in jail with because you’re just that crazy together.
• There are only a few things in life more genuine than the smile you get when you think about THAT crush.
• There is absolutely nothing wrong with tattoos. In fact, they’re pretty damn sexy – to some people anyways.
• Never go after a guy with baggage. Who needs the drama, really?
• Text messaging and phone calls should NOT be allowed while drinking.
• Learn from your mistakes – go for the wrong guy or the one that’s too cute, put yourself out there, get your heart broken….LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!
• Have at least one really good pick – up line. It’ll eventually work on someone.
• Self – confidence starts with sexy underwear.
• Every now and then be that girl that no one likes, be irresponsible, drink too much, dance on that table like you mean it, and don’t worry about what anyone thinks or says, because you know for at least a second they were wishing they knew how to have fun like you.
• Nothing cures a Monday like a margarita.
• Learn how to say no, but don’t be scared to say yes.
• Don’t ever be afraid to be single. NEVER EVER!!!!
• Don’t live that cookie cutter life: Prince Charming? Fairytale wedding? White picket fence? NOT GONNA HAPPEN.
• Have nights that you can’t remember, but make sure you take friends with you that can.
• If you think there is something or someone better out there for you, there is.
• Know how to be happy with yourself before you try to make someone else happy.
• If you know what you want, there should be no shame getting it.
• Take care of your heart and have friends that will too.
• Ask yourself when you wake up, “If today was my last day, what would I do?” then do it.
• Sometimes studying with alcohol is the best way to go.
• It’s ok to not be certain about your future, your love life, your whatever, just make sure you’re sure with yourself.
• Everyone is waiting on that ridiculous can’t eat, can’t sleep, can only think about you kind of love. Don’t be that girl. Be that girl who takes a chance, the girl that asks for a number she wants. Be aggressive, because when you’re waiting, you end up waiting on nothing.
• Get your priorities straight: friends before boys. Always.
• Sometimes you just need music.
• Make it a point to have trust in your life. Trust in yourself and trust in your friends. If you don’t have trust in your friends, then you need new friends.
• It’s ok to cry, whenever you want. It’s ok to scream and vent.
• There are moments in your life you need to savor: the homemade strawberry margaritas, actual mail that comes in an envelope, a good song on the radio, freshly washed sheets, that first kiss….
• What is the point of having friends you can’t trust? If they can’t tell you that you deserve better, that you’re smarter than that, and that you look completely ridiculous in that outfit, then there is no point.
• Recognize when something better is staring you in the face.
• Know how to keep a secret.
• If you’re starting a new relationship, make sure you have your whole heart. If someone in your past still has a piece of it, get it back. If you can’t get it back then you’re not ready to start anything new.
• Always be on call for your friends, even if you have a test the next day or a paper due. If you fail your test or bomb your paper, life goes on. If you fail with your friends, that’s it.
• Know that liars go straight to hell, along with bad tippers.
• Never date outside of your time zone unless you know it’s worth it. What makes it worth it? Well, if you have to ask, then it’s not worth it.
• On Valentine’s Day, if you’re single, remember that you don’t have a guy sitting on your couch playing video games, that you can go out and not worry what he thinks, that if someone asks you for your number you can gladly give it to them, and most importantly that you can be free. Free to have your WHOLE heart. So celebrate being single. So Valentine’s Day can just fuc*ing bring it.
• Find a guy who will hold every door (and his breath) for you.
• If you can think of a million reasons to stay with someone and one really good reason why you shouldn’t, do the math – you shouldn’t.
• Don’t look for the knight in shining armor to come sweep you off of your feet. Look for the guy who will ground you, someone who inspires you, because NOT a feeling in this world can even compare to the one you get when you find someone who makes you want to be a better person.
• DON’T MIX FRIENDS WITH BOYS. You have two choices when a boy comes between you and a friend. Either back off and lose the boy or lose your friend. In the end, you know he’s not worth all the secrets, inside jokes, tears, late nights, and memories the two of you share.
• There is such a thing as karma. You better keep yours in good shape.
• Find a guy who will remember the exact color of your eyes.
• Don’t love just to love. Don’t love just because you can. Love because there is nothing else in the world that you could possibly want. Love because it is the icing on the cake.
• Be complete, don’t let someone complete you; you’re perfect, even alone.
