Rise!!
Held back by these walls like a leash on a dog,
Hell bent on rising even though I fall,
In my thoughts I stand tall even though I crawl,
Quick to claim the fame even though I’m small,
I rise like the flames on a burning log,
Covered in ashes I dust myself off,
It’s time for a new leader to represent yall,
Too many Kings have failed, too many lives got lost,
A voice whispers in my ear, it sounds so subtle,
It says hit the wall and watch it crumble,
I hesitate, because of my fears of trouble,
But then I thought about all of my years of struggle,
I smacked the wall with my fist and moved through the rubble,
As I look back, all I see is a puddle,
It must’ve come from all of this blood on my knuckles,
As it drips dry, I rise like a space shuttle,
I leave the world behind in the midst of my troubles,
In my muscles I feel the power of a scud missile,
Breaking those walls was like popping a bubble,
I’m taking over yall, I’m not dropping the issue,
