What can I say about Devil that has not already been said? He was funny, laid back, easy to talk with and just a really good guy. I have known Devil for many years going back to early PWL days and from day one he always treated me like a friend. Anytime we would joke in the locker room while getting ready for the show or talk about wrestling or just shoot the breeze I always walked away with a smile on my face. He had a personality that would light up a room with stories or make people laugh so hard over a joke that it would be contagious and the next thing you know everyone around would be smiling and laughing.
Devil was always one for the business. He respected it and the people in it. He might not have liked you but if you respected the business he respected you. I remember just last show we were talking about how fun it would be if the Hellfire club reunited for one more run. I also remember him pulling me a side in my earlier days in PWL and giving me advice on how I can improve my character and ring work. He did it in a way that was almost like he was mentoring and was never mean or rude about his criticism.
I will always remember fondly of the matches I had with Devil but most of all I will remember the laughter we shared along with the good times and great conversations both in the locker room and out of the locker room. I would like to keep Devils family especially his kids and friends in my thoughts as this senseless tragedy continues to unfold and I pray that Devil finds the peace in the after life that he was lacking here on Earth.
Devil you will be missed more than you will ever know by so many people. You touched so many hearts and impacted so many lives with your friendship. God bless you brother and good bye.
