here are some truths about redheads (along w/ some myths)
1) redheads require more anesthesia. (it's tough to knock us out and hard to keep us down)
2)redheads are more likely to bleed during surgery
3)redheads are more sensitive to thermal pain (maybe why we tend to burn more easily?)
4)redheads are less sensitive to pain from multiple modalities (except for the above mentioned thermal pain)
5)women with naturally red hair require less of the painkiller pentazocine than do either women of other hair colors or men of any hair color.
6)Red hair is the rarest type of natural hair color in humans.
now for the myths:
1)redhair is a sign of a fiery temper
2)redheads are untrustworthy
3)redheads turn into vampires when they die
4)redheads are bad luck
5)redheads are witches
