The iPhone 6 won't hit stores yet, but incredibly has already become the fastest-selling device of the company.
Pre-orders opened last Friday and in just 24 hours Apple managed to sell 4 million phones.
And the head of Apple, Tim Cook, confirmed that the figure marks a new record for the company.
"6 iPhone and iPhone Plus 6 are better in every way and we are enthusiastic customers love them as much as us," he said.
"Pre-orders for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus iPhone has set a new record for Apple and we can't wait to get our best iPhone still in the hands of customers beginning this Friday."
Apple has unveiled new smartphones last Tuesday and is now available in two sizes.
iPhone users can choose between a 4.7-inch screen, or go big with the iPhone by 5.5 inches 6 Plus.
Both phones have a new slimmer design, better camera, faster processor and updated screen.
Also included is the new payment service from Apple, ApplePay, and when you throw in the United Kingdom next year will purchase items easier and faster.
ApplePay works with the new iPhone in a card reader and the money is immediately debited from your account.
The iPhone 6 will be available from Friday 19 September, with prices starting from £519 sim for free or from £ 38 per month on a 24 month contract.
