As of now, it's been 13 days since my birthday. I still think of it as a time for birthday cake & all of that. I suppose I have that mentality of still wanting my birthday to be a big deal, but for the past two birthdays since I've been here it really hasn't been. I think it could be I'm two states away from family so it doesn't seem like a big deal, just another day.
At what point in our lives do we go from happy go lucky on our birthday to just meh?
