The time has come to say goodbye. I initially joined 9 or 10 years ago under my original nom de plume only to enter into a flame war which resulted in me childishly claiming to open my own gathering hole before closing that account. I return under another nom de plume which evolved a few times yet nothing substantial seemed to be happening. It seemed I was a very angry individual for reasons which if I explained would garner as much disbelief as pity. Unbelievable things happen in this world and I can say I've bore witness to a few. And that has led me to decide the time is now to chase those dreams of mine as no one can do it for me. Nothing substancial happened for me in the way of friendship here on fubar and that was my number one reason for joining. All the interactions seemed genuine at the same time routinely superficial. There was no depth and my toxicity levels kept me from making any true connections and that in itself is a tragedy. So some day soon, before going to visit my muse/high school sweetheart in our home state, I'll be deleting 85 to 95% of all my social media since it isn't an important facet of life to her and that is most refreshing in today's society where interpersonal interaction isn't as prevalent as it was in the '70's & 80's. We rarely know our neighbors names and interacting is taboo which is murder on your inner being for a geek/nerd hybrid like myself who is already stereotypically socially awkward. Anyway, the time has come to pursue happiness and kick it analog as digital is overwhelming and more for the current generation, as I want to interact with individuals around me physically rather than digitally through some sort of portable device [even though stories from my childhood were filled with wondrously futuristic devices, similar to those we carry today] Time to return to anolog and place my musings into the ether the oldfashioned way...
