Born in 1987 as Vincent Grant Straub Jr. PTP grew up in the great state of New Jersey, in the deep south of this state where homes are broken every where you go. His parents divorced when he was a baby, and was raised by his mother. After years of basically growing up on his own he became independent fast. His only true friend was his older sister by three years who introduced him to the world of Hip Hop around the 4th grade. As soon as PTP heard this genre of music he fell in love immediatley. Listening to acts like Jay Z, Biggie, Tupac, Lil Wayne, and DMX, PTP couldn't put a cd player and pair of head phones down. Then in 1999 he discovered EMINEM, which would later influence him to start to write his own lyrics. In the 7th grade he titled himself Poltergeist because he felt like a ghost in his own world, and no one could see him. PTP started to go down hill when his sister did not get along with his mother and she moved out of the house which left himself with no "true" friends. He started to focus more on his lyrics and musical talent. PTP was on a terrible path, he now discovered marijuana and the streets, from hustling to duckin cops he was doin it all. After getting arrested in school for threatening another student PTP gave up and stopped giving a F__K. HE released a cd labeled 'Victorious' in the 8th grade in which he rapped over beats of such rappers as BIGGIE, DMX, and BONE THUGS. PTP was lovin it, not realizing he was off beat and his flow was terrible. He felt this was an accomplishment as people would tell him "Yo thats hot". PTP would go on to high school where he was introduced to many other emcees like himself. Getting recognized by others and building a name for himself was his goal so he rapped whenever he could and let people know he was in it to win. PTP released another solo album title 'My Life as A Goodfella' in 9th grade with a total of 21 tracks on it. Everybody was feelin this album as PTP let people know of his mafia roots with his italian family. Hip Hop heads were playin the cd and giving PTP good feedback which helped his confidence level. PTP released no more solo albums in High School but did join a rap group labeled MLB in the 10th grade. In 11th grade PTP joined the US ARMY because he knew he was not going to college, and knew he would need a job after graduating highschool. He also moved out of his home in 11th grade and got his own apartment because he could not bare to live in a broken home anymore. When PTP was 18 he became friends with a smart man names 'wheels' and moved his recording studio into his store named BEZELS where he would go on to record artists for money, after so long PTP had no time for him and his friends to record so he left for the ARMY for about a year and came home and decided not to take on customers anymore so he would have time for himself and friends. Now PTP is working full time, has a son he is raising, who has a brother and sister that he is also raising, and is now balancing his personal life with the family and his love for HIP HOP, which he feels is DEAD, but still has love for REAL HIP HOP and will keep making real music until he dies. Music is in his blood, his father played in a band as lead vocals and sometimes drummer and was a DJ, and his grandfather was a DJ up until he passed away. PTP loves to make good music and will never put a mic down. As he tattooed on his arm the acronym MILLION, which stands for Music Is Life Like It Or Not, he wants the world to know his love for music in general and his love for real hip hop. Today PTP is back to being a solo artist, and is not in a group anymore, although any artist PTP is affiliated with he calls a "microhpone fiend".
