Alright here at my job my supervisor over another department has a smoking problem. His problem is he smokes for breakfast and lunch and no telling how much there after. I dont have an issue with him smoking as long as he doesnt affect my production or take it around my kids. Over the past 10 years we have become somewhat friends not that we hang out much after work hours but we do have a friendship. In the past few weeks his performance has been for lack of better terms SHITTY.. He has stopped my production at least twice daily which now has us working 6 days a week 10 hours a day. I have spoken with him on a friend type level about the affects he has placed on my production but to no avail.
Heres the question do I A: let him be and smoke away and keep the friendship we have or B: report him and let the powers above do as they see fit abd risk losing the friendship.
