i see that you have owned rangers be4...i have a 2001 ranger v6 manual that makes a loud sound when i put it into gear and begin to take off...my gfs ex bf, just re-did our clutch and forgot to put some bolts back in our tranny and that shit almost fell out of the truck it was hanging on by lil 2 bolts, and it was made the same sound so i took it in and they put in new bolts and fixed me up and said it was fine, but then a few days later the same shit happend, but i know it wasnt because of the bolts becuase they tighten them i watched them do it...anyways when i put it into 1st and give it gas it makes a loud bang, its hard to explain...but if you could give me any info that would be helpful, i am takin it in this week to get it checked out...i just wanted to get different points of view...thanks a have a good one...
