A Journey

A Journey A journey of the mind, the body, of the soul, A means of discovery, to find yourself, For a road shall be present but with several paths, Choose your path without fear of mistake. A journey of the mind is to be thoughtful, A means to enlighten your self, To be knowledgeable and careful, Yet to be free to walk by your own strength. A journey of the body is to be strong, A means of building yourself in strength, To be broken down and rebuilt from within, A way to become the force behind your thought. A journey of the soul is to find peace, A means to become one with yourself, For you to become the bearer of your person, To carry your emotions for all of yourself. It is a journey of your equal, A search to find your companion, A desire to be complete, to have your heart filled, This journey is to become all that you wish for. This journey is like the stars, For solitude may wear on the patient as well, Like the shooting star you make your final journey, You search for the one to make you complete. So fold yourself up in your patience, Make ready for you may find this person soon, Build your mind, body and soul strong, Complete the journey and live complete. Matthew Scott Geyer Journeyman

True Sunshine

True Sunshine A start of the day signified by the sunrise, A new beginning, the arrival of another chance, To see the sunrise is to see true beauty, A chance to see the true light of your eyes. Hold strong for the rise of the sun, Take a breath and remember its glory, Find the strength to face the day from this. Find hope to see yourself as you would be. The sunrise is the mark of the beginning, It holds the truth for the start, a search, But a search for what you ask, It is a search to see your Sunshine. For as the sunrise starts the day, It is the Sunshine that lights it, But this light comes not from the sun, This is the light you see within another. For the time this person wakes, To the time this person falls asleep, So marks the start and end of your day, It is this person that gives light to your heart. So rise when your Sunshine rises, Sleep when your Sunshine sleeps, Remember their beauty for it is grand, For you know it is for them in which you stand. So stand tall and proud, Face your day and the strife that may come, For to look upon your Sunshine is peace, For that light of your heart, you may find your comfort. So cast away the clouds that cover your heart, Allow the radiance of your Sunshine to come through, For she is the greatest sight of your heart, And for her shall you stand the man you wish to be. The Lost Soul of a Man

The Lost Soul of a Man Who so stands to the evil within shall be lost, Who might it become that evil resides, Evil is the heart within all, Yet who might resist such things? For stronger in body be that of the man, To the smaller ways lies that of the woman, Could a man hold himself tall for his strength? Nay for all he has within his heart is the evil. To takes ones strength for the lust of ones body, For he abuses his gifts with the force against another, Screams and cries shall not touch his ears, For that he might be has fled to the dark. Cry for this man who hold no strength, For strength of body is empty and cold, He shall never hold dear his heart of joy, No woman may complete this man. From one to the next he takes a woman, Her cries fuel his rage against her, For each time he does he falls deeper, For his evil is the rage of the body. Seek not to find this man, Let it be he who seeks you in need, His evil shall be rewarded with evil, Yet his pain shall come from knowing his truth. For the pleasure of pain upon a woman, Shall not yield until deaths grace, For upon this shall he find anew an evil untouchable, This shall be his torment for his pleasure in pain. And he shall become within his heart, To feel the agony he has brought, Mourn for him but once my friend, For his soul had been lost upon the first strike of a woman’s face. Star Sapphire

Star Sapphire What might one find in the sun? A radiance of light that shines, A display that allows for clear view, A perspective of reality. So you may walk your chosen road with vision, But does this perspective hold you strong? Is reality all one may see? To believe you are without fantasies, a dream, A means to say your heart ceases to beat, But a dream awaits for those that seek it, To seek a wonder that is so distant is madness, Though the distance is only physical. Your heart cries to you to know what you see, A beauty that is beyond even the stars, A beauty so profound, stunning does not proper justice. This fantasy holds you in awe, How could such a fantasy be conceived? Does imagination run so strong to create utter chaos? A chaos of a one too good to be real? This dream is too grand and could not be real, But it can’t be, this is not a dream, Your fantasy walks, she is real, and the wonder of your senses is near, Though far from you she is near in your heart, A woman that shuns the stars for her radiance surpasses even the sun, But like the stars she is far, yet so very close as though you could touch her, But she is too profound to be a star, For if the sun does not compare how may a simple star, But kin to star she is, a sight though that surpasses them, This wondrous woman is a Star Sapphire. Greater then the sun that is close and bright, Shaming the stars that are distant yet close, My fantasy is a true Star Sapphire, A fantasy at first, but reality now she is real, The Star Sapphire is the essence of pure radiance, So I give to her this praise and thanks, Thank you for letting me see a fantasy made real before my very eyes. Painful Desire

Painful Desire So tender is your burning heart, A passion of power and pain, Strong is the fire of your life, As loved ones cut you with the blade of a knife. Why do they not see your splendor, Why can they strike your beautiful heart, My pain is deep for what I see done to you, I wish only to hold you forever and believe its true. You are so beautiful my eyes can scarcely contain your radiance, Your heart is so passionate mine wishes to break, Break for I would join my heart with yours to be as one, And you would know my love is true for I shall never run. A Man

A man What might thee be to mine eyes? A flower of the field has but a view that may be approached, Then sun upon high may only be seen from afar out of reach, However I like neither the closeness nor the space of either, Yet to others they hold such beauty as though they were wonderful. For one without the other shall be found lacking, Lacking to the heart that cries for love, For it is I who am the sun in life, Such as you are but the flower in the field, Drawn to each other we are so far apart, Might my touch be so great yet so far as to not be able to hold you? For this I do not find the beauty in these. I am a man, as you are a woman, My arms shall hold unto you forever, But my arms shall never let you go, So take your sun along with the flower, I shall be a man, and man is what I shall be for you. Free Wind

Free Wind Listen to the wind to hear it blow, It shall always be there wherever you go, There by your side yet you cannot see, It is my hand upon your shoulder to put you at ease. A light gentle push when you are feeling blue, My heart shall break should harm ever come to you, Your smile is the heaven that I must see, So share this wonder I beg you upon bended knee. Your beauty is wondrous and in full bloom, That to get me away you must beat me with a broom, But you wish me near as i wish to be, So enter my arms to set us both free. Hells Heart

Hells Heart Who can say where the heart lies, For life itself sets your trail as you pass by, All is a lesson in the cold truths of life, Lessons set in stone yet must learned through strife. Why does it flow with such a cold breeze, That it grips the heart bringing me to my knees, The winds of change have come once again, Another test to take proving I'm a man. Struck down without thought and passed without care, I gave you my all and I would share, Here in the cold I feel so alone, What can I hope for from what's been shone. Time will heal one step at a time, Soon the bell will toll and I'll hear the chimes, The chime time signify all will be well, That I'll stand once more and walk past this Hell. Matthew Scott Geyer Journeyman

Heavens Heart

Heaven’s Heart What seems so small is so big, And what is not seen should be paid respect, For all around you is the power of heaven, Take but a moment yourself and see. Not the cruelest of times, Nor the darkest may hide, That which is true when you open your eyes, For strength resides within your heart. Send away your fears and torments, Stand tall and believe in yourself, Never let another bring you down, For as you draw strength so do other draw from you. Listen to the wind, the water, the earth and the spirit, Give thanks for the strength given by natures heart, Watch the sunrise to feel its unbending power, And know such power rests within you. Heaven is here for open eyes to see, But without pain there is not pleasure, Take in those who would be there for you, And in the end you shall know the beauty they see.
