Cold or Valley
Imagine This:
Standing on an icy road above a valley.
A dead winter day with slush, dangerous icicles hanging over head,
White, crusty road salt and grime on your car.
You wear layers upon layers, but it's so cold that the layers seem to do no good.
You stand there shivering,
Realizing you ears and feet are going so numb that they hurt.
But as much as you want to climb into your crust car and go home to be warm,
You keep standing there.
The valley in front of you is so breathtaking.
You stare, look, appreciate, experience, and perhaps live this view.
So much about the moment you dislike makes you want to leave.
But something keeps you there.
It seems as though the gorgeous view outweighs the nasty cold.
And Another Dilemma:
Your mind tells you that you should leave for your health and safety.
Surely if you stay too long, you'll freeze to death.
But your heart tells you that you can't bear to leave such a beautiful and wonderful
thing.
You feel connected, a connection beyond most imagination.
A connection so strong, not even a blizzard could stop you from finding that place again.
Solution:
So what do you do?
Leave for warmth, comfort, health and safety?
Stay for that unmatchable connection, feeling of wholeness and completion?
The connection of Love is a powerful thing.
The beauty of a Great Love can keep you in danger (a little longer than anticipated)
