Pakka Tonight A quick smile A short chat Is that all To be had? Once was laughter Happiness and joy. Now is sighing Sadness and despair. Sun has gone down Rain pours from the sky Stars are hidden Behind clouds of grey. A quick smile A kiss on the cheek As once again you Say Pakka Tonight.

Frightful Day We came here to find out more About this he has live with all his life Some days are good Some days are bad But one day it will all end. The pain, the tiredness, The worry, the fear. All these will end On that frightful day, So near, so far away. And on that day, I pray so far away Not only will his pain be gone But my love, my life will cease to be That day he goes away from me.

Small World They meet in the room Two strangers drawn Drawn by the spin Started chatting Having fun Discovered how small The world really was From the same town From the same school Never meeting before They got together Over a drink or two. Talking, discovering Knowing same people Having same interests Friends they became Friends they will stay.

Mind's Eye So far from her, he lives. But within her Mind's Eye She sees him every day. Closing her eyes, he is there Standing close or lying beside. As the sun's warm rays shine upon her She can feel his gentle caresses. His hands roaming up and down Making sweet love to her. Opening her eyes, he disappears She sighs, deeply, sadly. Love Forever She sits again Waiting and wondering Was it something she did? Was it something she said? That keeps him away Away for so long. Once there was great love Love forever was what he said But then he left her behind. He came back full of love Love forever he said again She believed that was true Then again he left her Though for a very good reason But she sits and waits Wondering why he isn't back No effort to come back to her Or so it seems to she who waits. Should she wait? Should she hope? That he comes back Full of love once again Love forever he told her twice Love Forever can it be right?

Nature's Beauty, Man's Destruction Sunlit reflections upon the water Waves lapping against the shore Loons giving a mournful cry Wind whispering gently through the trees A squirrel scampering across the path Nature's beauty at her finest. Oil slick upon the water Waves crashing against the trash Cars growling along the road Wind whipping through tall buildings A dog lying wounded in the street Man's destruction at his worst.

Alone and Confused I sit here Alone and confused How could this happen? I feel for one Head over heels When I wasn't looking. I fell for two While in mourning For the one. One came back. Two still around. Three is a crowd. How to choose? Who to choose? Why not both? But that can't be Nor can I truly Be with either. So I sit Alone and confused Wondering what will happen.

No Answer "Why do you love me?" she asked yet again. Knowing the answer but needing to ask. Hoping this time the answer will differ. He said with a smile as he reached for her hand. "I Love you and that is that. Now come sit here, my dear sweet love." She sighed and shook her head Once again she got no answer An answer she has been seeking all her days. The Dragon's Peace From Time Immortal they came Proud and majestic, flying free Peaceful creatures looking For a home to call their own. They came to this place Seeing vastness and peace They settled and began to live And raise their families. But Man came upon them Seeing something different and strange Began to destroy, as Man is wont to do To Something he does not understand. Once again, proud and free They began to search For a home to call their own In which to live and die peacefully. Some find isolated places Where some Men are willing To live in peace with all creatures Big and small, peaceful or not. The vast majority still seek Searching for that home. For everywhere they settle Man will not leave them in peace. Within this place of mine Dragons live in peace So mind the Dragon's Peace here So that all creatures can live safe.

Silent Solitude In silent solitude She sits and dreams Visions of once was Visions of what is No sight of future Longing for peace Feelings of Chaos Feelings of Torment When will it end? When will solitude cease? When will peace return?
