Years pass me by in minutes Without you by my side Everyday I'm haunted By a love to strong to die I cant let go of this false hope I'll wait for you long after I'm gone In this life or the next,we meant to be together

You come to me,drunk as I remember you to be youvebeen looking for answers,in the bottom of your bottle,you drank away another dream,Now your looking for some comfort,the kind that can't be bought.You know I'll take you in,you know I'll I'll treat you right.And in each others arms,we try to take this road to nowhere,somewhere for a night. Now I remember being warned,by our buddy John, he said,your not the type to count on,he drinks to much and he's always wanted by the law,he's just not what you need.At the time,he was all I ever wanted,wish I would have listened to my wisened mentor.Cause for 3 years now we've been basterdizing this road to nowhere,trying to make sence of our situations. I've been running in circles,looking for you in every corner,and the shadowson my walls,are the shadows in your heart,that keep you from loving me Everytime I think your really gone,I find you coming back around again.I think I've telling you good-bye,but your something I can't quit.Now once again I'm tripping in your arms,trying to take this road to nowhere,somewhere for a night.

There's silent thunder in my heart Teardrops falling though the cracks As what's left,quickly falls apart This rusty chain's all thats keeping it intact Every link there remains a memory of you And all the pain you put me though There's silent thunder in my soul My dignity and pride,it packed up and left And there's lost's of room now to lose control Whatever you left behind,your memory took the rest Your as beautiful as ever,and I'm ever a disgrace There's silent thunder in my mind Reliving your words and your touch There just had to be a sign I must have overlooked it,caught up in the rush Guess I never really knew you at all All your pretty hateful lies That's what make's us fools fall Now there's silent thunder in my heart And I'm falling all apart There's silent thunder in my heart To fix it,I don't know where to start This silent thunder in my heart
