as i sit here and begin to write
my day becomes a blur
i can't remember
my last cigerette or
what i last ate for dinner
the room begins to spin
and i fade away within
forming thoughts into words
overwhelming my head
flowing from my finger tips
and into the ink
all seems a trance
as my words begin to dance
no longer are they trapped in my mind
no longer do they bother
or erode away with time
no longer do they muster
or hide away inside
they are now free
for all to read
so my insides no longer bleed
