I am trying to quit smoking. I need to know what people have tried that worked.

These didn't work:
Cold turkey
The patches - tried two brands, I am allergic to the adhesive
Nicorette gum - tastes like pepper. I would rather lick an ashtray than taste pepper.

I would like to hear about:
Prescriptions
Laser accupuncture
ANYTHING else that works.
