The morning is full calm and serene.
She steps into the cool, soft sand.
Her body mind and soul are at ease.
Harmoniously she thinks to herself;
This is as perfect as a dream.
She stares across the golden sand.
Aimlessly she walks to the glistening water’s edge,
And a warm cup of coffee in hand.
Standing there with every passing wake,
Tiny grains of sand soothingly slip from under her feet.
The wind peacefully glides through her silk vanilla robe.
Truly the moment is anything but frantic.
Gently in the mist of the sweet,
She’s joined by her lover.
Wrapped in loving wings,
Surely this is a moment not be taken for granted.
Suspended in a world that is their own.
In which melancholy is forever rejected.
The two lovers make this space and time their throne.
A picture is worth a thousand words,
And if you were to look at them,
You would say so too.
With her head cradled between his shoulder and cheek,
He whispers to her the three words,
Not every man is able to speak.
Only to continue on and say;
The love that you give unto me rarely comes along.
The love and joy that we share can conquer the roughest of seas,
And weather the toughest of storms.
You are able to bring me comfort in my moments of despair.
Right now there is no place that I would rather be in other than your heavenly bliss and tender care.
