Well everyone, here is one for ya. I was in a severe car accident last april that left me permanently disabled due to mild brain damage and horrible headaches and chronic back and neck pain. I have seen a battery of doctors and they all have come to the conclusion that surgery is NOT an option yet they want to inject my neck with a drug called lidocaine for a local anesthestic. Then while I am numb yet still awake they want to give me a steroid called prednisone. Prednisone is NOT an anebolic steroid(like what body builders use). I myself am a greatful recovering cocaine addict and have been clean for 15 years. I am afraid of the lidocaine(the caine on the end of lidocaine makes me think its coke) causing a relapse, meaning the injection could cause me to go back to doing cocaine. Im hoping someone wll read this that maybe is or was in a similar situation. All comments will be appreciated and I will add anyone as a fan and/or friend and rate evrything I can of yours just for your simle input
Should I risk it and take the shots in the neck( the doctors know my situation and have assured me that there is no chance of it causing a relapse). The doctors have at this point taken me off all pain killers due to possible internal organ damage from continued use of them.
Thanks all you wonderful cherrys
Maxwell
