'Jacqui ~When In Doubt...Dance~ To ALL Who Should/Could Do More...and to those WHO DO! Why Not More? Off to war go our daughters and sons To fight for a country UNITED AS ONE! Every one on board, we will take no more, Until we forget and bail to the shore. It's easy to SAY we Support OUR Troops, But saying isn't doing till you walk in their BOOTS! Off to a land, foreign at best.. To live in the heat, dust and regret. Regret for the children they don't see grow, And the spouses they love but no longer know. To hear the news flashes of another deserter And know it is those who claim to be a SUPPORTER. Not a military man or woman, for its true, It's an American here...is it you? We wonder why they would rather stay there... Or do you not wonder and not even care?? Get down off your high horse and "walk the talk," Send packages, airline tickets and anything you made or bought.. To show we're beside them, every step of the way... Only then can we welcome them HOME and mean what we say! Don't think for a second they don't know the news.. I hope it's not your child who's ashamed of you! I'll welcome my son home with open arms, love and appreciation... I gave him life, but he gave me freedom! And if the worst should happen and my son dies fighting for you.. Then I know he stood proud and did what he felt was right and true... ............Did you?
