| It's been literally YEARS since I've made one of these, but I actually have something that is totally irritating the fire out of me. I'm not the most patient person in the world, I am very tolerable with my own children, of course I love and adore them and would lay down my own life for them both equally because they are mine. My kids are pretty well-mannered and say "Yes Ma'am" and "No Ma'am". When it comes to the spawn of other people I just have a hard time with them, because not every child is raised to be well-mannered. My neighbor's have a little girl the same age as my boys and she is always playing with them, which is cool. Lately she has been just coming into my house uninvited, asking for food, asking me to buy her ice cream when the truck rolls around, tattling on my kids, etc. Being a totally typical kid of course. She can't be more than 5 years old. I haven't met her family, the boys tell me she stays with her grandma. Should I go to the grandmother and talk to her about the childs behavior? Or should I just keep handing out freebies from my home? I'm not one to really make the first move and get out and talk to people, I'm more of a recluse. Not the most outgoing gal around. I'm having a hard time deciding when enough is enough, it's not my place to sit down and have a talk with the child. I'm a total control freak ... |
