Ive started do my own manicures and pedicures. all the store bought gel polishes or ' long wear ' polish chip off very easily. I use basecoat and top coat when I'm done. I also use a drying light between coats so I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Are the salon or ' professional ' polishes actually more wear resistant?

I buy Essie and Opi.
