This is how all the stories start, right??
"once upon a time...."
Well....once upon a time, in a Magic land there lived the most beautiful creatures God ever created.
Their name was a curse or a blessing...
People couldnt even spell their name for fear they might get cursed...so they called them Fairies. Much easier to hide their powers behind an earthly word.
The fairies ruled the Earth and brought their magic in everything they touched. They used to walk in the forests dressed with clothes made of Moon rays, they used to whisper to the rivers that carried their words to the mortal souls...
For centuries their dance enlightened the world bringing light and magic into the tortured souls of the living!
But the people started to be envious on the Fairies' powers. They thought they could steal the magic by cheating and spreading lies...
The Fairies started to visit the mortals less and less...till one day they when they didnt come at all into their world... The world of lies and deceiving words...
The Fairies' joy turned into sorrow and as the time passed by it became anger and revenge on the mindless humans that started destroying the world...
The people started fearing them...tried to forget their names, then tried to make peace with them but the Fairies were too hurt.
But people didnt give up in their attempt to reconcile so they even made a celebration for them.
They put it on the 24th of June...
The Fairies made a pact... on the night from 23th to 24 june of every year they will open the skies and reveal themselves to people ( who is lucky enough to see them).
But the ones that lied and disrespect the world will loose their minds and just vanish into the dark side of revenge.
In their wisdom, the Fairies knew that not all the people became dark and deceiving so they give a chance in that night to the innocent ones to see their dance...but poor souls...no one is to believe their words. Even the innocent ones are doomed to carry the perfect image of the fairies dancing in the forests, without being able to share it.
The Fairies always dance...every night but no mortal soul is to see them again in all their splendor.
Just one night, just for one moment...on the 23th of june at midnight...
On which side will you be that night? The ones that go into madness or the ones that will have the Honor to see what is left from the magic that was given to the world to enjoy?
Their real names are SANZIENE....some how translated in romanian.."Holly Fairies"!
And yes, you can still see them if you come in Romanian Magic Woods.
I heard they come here more often than once a year because they found here a part of the Magic that used to rule the Earth when Fairies and Humans knew only love and joy.
A saying says: "Every time a child gives up believing in Tales, a fairy dies" - i wont kill my fairies!
Sounds silly and childish but i believe in their existance, i believe in their Magical Dance, i believe in their stunning beauty, i believe i their pain, in their lament, in their revenge...!
Till my last breath i will dream of the moment when i will see their dances under the Moonlight, when i will hear them whispering again to the rivers, when i will see the nature bowing in front of their beauty!
I know that all i need is one night in my Romanian magical Forests...
I always wanted to be one of them, to touch the people's heart with joy and hope for a better world.....
And their dance will be as magical as flowers in winter, and their touch as soft as the silky veils on the marble stones, and their eyes will kill the sinful mortal souls, and their smiles will chain the heart to an immortal dream...the dream of the perfect love, the dream of the falling stardust, the dream of dresses made by moon rays.
Their hair will blow in the wind, the butterflies will play in their long hair, their feet will barely touch the ground in that crazy dance and the forest will get lost in that unstoppable spin.
I dedicate this Blog to the beautiful creatures called Fairies that are not just a myth for me.
PLEASE DONT LOOK AT THESE WORDS AS SOMETHING SILLY... IT IS THE INNOCENT CHILD IN ME TALKING!
