Sometimes visions are deceiving
sometimes words can be misleading
Humanity knows not what they preach
children know not what they can reach
when the world says it's not possible
and not allowed
In a world where seasons change
misfortune is turned to blame
humility is turned to shame
people are so blinded by the light of white
that they can't appreciate the lovely shades of grey
Conversation is nothing more than an array of emotions
taught to be expressed through words
interpretation is the misuse of information
no one seems to just take it for what it is
instead they use it and abuse it
No one is born with an enemy
they are only created through ignorance and arrogance
if we could learn to shut our mouths and open our hearts
we'd find we are all on the same road to self discovery;
For it's much more fullfilling to realize the self
than to concern ourselves with the well being of others
No one is born with boundaries
they are created by insecurities and by those who think they know better
They are good for nothing more than imprisoning a free spirit; a free mind and a free will
all of which were gifts that we have traded for a leader to make decisions for us
so that we may not have to reap the consequences of making them ourselves
We try so hard not to offend anyone
that we end up offending ourselves
who is to say what is right but ourselves
as long as we are right with ourselves
how can we be offended?
A lie is a deceit
wrapped in pretty words
and usually we are only lying to ourselves
to feel better about a situation
and if we were only able to speak emotion
there would be no lies; no deceit
for we would rediscover oursleves
and concern the self with matters of importance
instead of matters of incompetance and blame
