A Simple Tale

Chapter 1. Arrival
Deep green grass and fallen leaves tickled his white fur covered paws, as the long eared creature silently moved amongst the living trees of the ancient forest. His foresters highly honed intuition peeked by the sour scent assailing his delicate nostrils, eliminating from a pair of unusual young humans making an unexpected arrival in his woods.
However, instead of using any normal form of conveyance, that of horse, wing, or fin. The strangely dressed female, accompanied by her male servant had arrived by way of a most unfamiliar mode of transportation.
The females male servant had rode into his world through a tunnel of swirling rainbow of colored light, born on the back of a snorting metal beast that breathed flame and smoke from its twin nostrils. The two young humans were dressed in prohibited animal skins. Rudely interrupting their musing over the dreadful state their world had taken on of late. While Pennor sat under the shade of one of his friends among the talking pines.
The male having removed the sleeves of his black leather jacket exposing on each arm, the black interlacing design tattooed into his white hairless skin. Worse yet he had threaded into the back of his jacket, a large red symbolic letter inclosed in a red circle that seemed to be composed of dripping human blood.
The female for her part had also broken the laws set down by the great mother Pandora. By wearing on her person a shocking pink leather jacket unzipped past her far to short tied up top to reveal her navel pierced through with untarnished steel and gemstone, and a matching skirt so short as to reveal her crimson under-things.
They both had ridden through the colored lights, on the back of a strange metal beast. that supported their sizable bulk on two large black spinning wheels and made a sound like the thunder that rolled across the country side during a heavy rainstorm.
Lifted up to the safety of his friends branches, the forester Pennor watched as the metal beast reared up as if in protest of its captivity, and throwing its riders off its back. Finally coming to rest on its side bleeding black blood while thick black smoke and heat from its two long steel nostrils set the brush and leaves alite.
In Fear for the trees he had long ago sworn to protect with his very life, Pennor jumped to the ground and quickly stamped out the small flames with his callused bare paws. Then he turned his attention to the two young humans that lay sprawled unconscious in a heap, half covered in a pile of red and orange early autumn leaves.
