My Online ID (NJ_Robin_Hood) is a result of several aspects of myself, both who I am, and who I would like to be if I were able to. I live in Central NJ, hence the initials. Most of my life I have been enamoured with the stories about Robin Hood. There are many different tellings, but the one thing that most of them have in common, is that Robin/Robert is a good man who has dedicated his life to helping people less fortunate than himself. How he goes about obtaining the resources needed to do so, varies from story to story, but all of the story tellers agree that he has good intentions.
Like Robin Hood, I get a good feeling out of knowing that something that I do can help someone else. Whether it is shoveling the snow off of the walkway of an elderly neighbor, or helping a young friend that was looking to buy her first car to get a safe car at a fair price, I am always willing to help if I can. No, I do not rob or steal, but I still find ways to help people anyway.
I have a dream that I will always be able to help people in these ways, and that if I am ever in need of help myself, that someone will come along to help me.Even though I live in Central NJ, I work in New York City. While the job is very rewarding (and pays OK too), traveling to and from work makes for a very long day.
I have a dream that one day I will find a way to work closer to home.I weigh more than I would like to, and nothing seems to work very well to help me lose the unwanted weight, although I am always open to new ideas. If you have any ideas, feel free to tell me about them.
