OK...
I got a 95 Toyota Camry, 230,000 miles. Metal brake lines went out that go from the master cylinder all the way to the rear brake drums. The entire undercarriage is rusted (drove the car here from MA, hence the rust) so all 4 will have to be replaced. 400.00 in parts and 400 in labor, final estimate was about 850.00. Kelley blue book value is 1,100 for the car. So in short, it's not worth fixing.
So here's my dilemma. I really can't afford a car payment and an insurance hike for full coverage. I can probably do it if i cut back on other utilities and quit smoking, so on and so forth.
So do I go ahead and spend the 850 to fix it, i won't have a car payment, but the car has no a/c (600 to fix) a cracked windshield (220 to fix) and other nickel and dime shit that just tell me to just let it go.
Oh and if someone wants to donate about 5g lemme know so I won't have to fix the car or have a car payment :P
So what'ya think? |
