I started seeing a girl a few weeks ago and she's become extremely enamored with me very quickly. I'm worried the cling factor is reaching critical levels a bit too soon, so I'm trying to curb the behavior by making myself unavailable. She tells me she likes "intense" relationships (meaning fast and w/ reckless abandon) and I've explained that it's "a marathon, not a sprint" and to chill out a bit.
What other suggestions or solutions might you lot have to offer? Anyone been successful in establishing normal boundaries with clingy people?
