Yet another Noob Mummer

Here we go again browneyes0316, decided she needed to confront me about her confrontation with a professor for an online class. She really really needed to convince me that she was right and that the professor had no right to conflict with her. Regardless since I don't care to know the details she went at with me for almost 10 minutes, here's the portion I was able to save from my shoutbox. She blocked me on her last line before I could tell her yet again to bother someone else and quit addressing mumm issues in my shoutbox. browneyes0...: if u didn't u wouldn't still be bullshitting me!! ->browneyes0...: Goodie for you....Why am I supposed to care? browneyes0...: bottom line is i don't have to allow someone to treat me that way and the dean and administrator agreed browneyes0...: i also fire people on a weekly basis so get over yourself ->browneyes0...: Yeah for you why are you trying to convince me you're right. I'm a supervisor and fire people on a weekly basis for insubordination....Get over yourself. browneyes0...: its an online class and i am not going to kiss his ass just because he is the president of a bank..i graduate in may and i go to border patrol in may so whether i take the class or not i will still graduate early if i want too ->browneyes0...: still the same answer. Either deal with it or move on. You're in school for a reason - you aren't in charge once you step into his class, he is. browneyes0...: i'm not paid to get along with peeps i am paid to bring in $2.5 million to our company ->browneyes0...: still the same answer, either learn to work with ppl you don't get along with and learn to respect authority even if you don't agree or move on and find something else browneyes0...: not worried about the grade have been a straight A student my whole life..most of it without even cracking a book i could probably complete his class while i am sleeping but i wanted to take the class just for the job that i am currently in not for my law enforcement job Sounds like she has authority issues personally, but who knows and who cares. Again, WOW what a loser. It was a mumm, I replied yet again someone took their mumm a bit too personal and got their feelers involved. LMAO

NFL Preseason 2007

Okay last time I checked NFL players make millions of dollars, even rookies make a couple hundred thousand in signing bonuses, so why are they all getting hurt. Time to reassess the situation, if I'm a team owner, as callus as it may seem, I own you. No different than the US Government in regards to Air Force pilots or Marine specialists. This is why they put "dangerous hobby" clauses in contracts. Any player's off season conditioning program needs to be monitored by the team for progress or lack there of. I think it's about time that these players realize it's time to step it up. I don't have a gym membership anymore, but yet I still maintain my body. Weight training, cardio and flexibility/stretching, it isn't that hard. Strained achilles tendons, strained ligaments, and groin pulls aren't from playing a rough contact sport, it comes from poor preparation, conditioning and maintaining one's body. I can buy a sprained knee for a running back or a deep shoulder bruise for a quarter back who just got his lunch force fed to him because his offensive line failed to block anyone, but come on I can run a full out sprint for 100 yards, much less 20, and not come up lame, it's all in the conditioning and preparation. Finally while I'm at it... Michael Vick is as guilty as anyone ever was, he's going to prison - that's a far better sentence than letting me get my hands on him, he's getting a break. Tank Johnson, Chris Henry and Adam "Pacman" Jones, these three clowns need to get their head on straight and start to focus or the only way they'll see the NFL is to buy a ticket at the gate. Before it all starts, all 32 teams have a chance, but by week 5 then we can start talking about who's shining and who's going to be looking forward to the draft.

What a summer

The NFL "Tank" Johnson, Michael Vick, "Pacman" Jones, Chris Henry. Along with that Matt Leinart and Tom Brady getting their girlfriends pregnant and then leaving them. Wow, just a wonderful collection of upstanding gentlemen and bright decision makers. MLB Barry Bonds' home run chase of Hank Aaron. Bud Selig attempting to take the high road and appear angelic. Steroids, steroids and more steroids. The owners knew, the media knew, the fans knew on some level and we all turned a blind eye. Hey guess what clean the slate start testing and we'll clean up the game and hopefully it will bring salaries back to a reasonable level so that ballpark prices get affordable for the ordinary fan once again. The NBA The Portland Trailgangsters are finally in the distant past as is the uproar in Detroit. But the Indiana Pacers, and Ron Artest are still bringing to the forefront bad behavior amongst NBA players. Oh yeah and Kobe Bryant may be a great player but he's still a cheater of a spouse. Then on top of it all David Stern is "shocked" and insists that Donaghy was a "rogue" ref and acted alone. Yet in the same interview Stern admitted he knew nothing until June 20th and Donaghy resigned on July 9th. Truth appears to be that Stern doesn't know anymore than the rest of us about who's fixing or not fixing games. This next year for the NBA will be crucial to their success. The REST Golf players on steroids, Gary Player says it's happening. He has nothing to gain by saying this so it has more credibility. David Beckham will make soccer interesting for a while but he won't make it a headline sport. The Tour De France has more riders dropping due to doping and the inability to pass drug/blood tests. Who would have thought that the NHL would be the cleanest and one sport with the least amount of controvery impacting it. WOW and it's only the end of July.
I've had a lot of people ask me what it's like to be shot. I'm not offended at all by this, but first and foremost let me tell you it's nothing like in the movies. When I got shot it was a situation where my adrenaline was already pumping, a woman I thought was my friend set me up, the guy couldn't aim and I was moving and dodging around. His first shot went through the bumper of my car I dove over the hood to avoid getting shot again. It was at that moment he fired again and I was shot in the shoulder. It was like getting slammed with a hammer that was on fire, but I had so much adrenaline pumping through me that my shoulder was burning and numb at the same time. I stopped moving, crouched down and waited for him to come around my car and I was going to jump him. I heard a car driving off. I stood up and there was blood all over the hood of my car. All I can imagine is that he thought he killed me. I looked at my shoulder and as I moved my arm I could feel the bullet in there. I started whining and crying. You want to know what the first thing I did was though? I washed the hood of my car off using a shop rag and a bottle of window washer fluid from the trunk of my car. Then everything wore off and my shoulder really began to burn. I went to a UMC Quick Care and said I was shot. They packed my shoulder, told me they had to call the police, and then I had to wait 30 minutes. LOL so much for being a Quick Care Center. By the time they got ready to take me back to work on my shoulder the police finally showed up. So as the doctor was working on me the police were asking questions. Who was it? Why did he shoot you? Are you on drugs? Do you have a gun on you? Where is your car? OMG it was like I was the criminal. Once they realized that I didn't have a gun and they drew blood to run a BAC on it, I went home with a $8900.00 doctor bill, and a copy of a police report. I cried, whined and screamed the whole time they were working on my shoulder, this hurt like hell and I didn't care if I cried and yelled like a baby. Over the next 2 weeks the cops and city attorney kept looking for the guy. When they found him, it wasn't clear why he was being picked up. Everyone around him thought it was on drug charges (typical). Shortly after that I was out somewhere and some of his friends approached me while I was at my car, flashed a gun and told me that if I wanted to be able to walk around and not have an accident I would forget what happened and not testify. I went home called the city attorney immediately and told him what happened and what they looked like. I had to pick them out of a line up and at that point the city attorney told me that I should stay home. So for 3 months I stayed at home except going to work, the store, and going to rehab. I didn't have the police guarding me either. So basically I was a prisoner in my own house, I couldn't go out anywhere. I couldn't even go out to a restaurant with my friends, I knew that would be a risky proposition. Horrific, painful and looking back I was a mess. A mental wreck, because all I could do was work and then go home and wonder if these guys were going to get convicted. I lost a lot of weight from the stress. I was down to 115 lbs., I'm now back to 145-150lbs., where I should be. Completely lost my muscle tone and my six pack abs in the process. I went to the trial alone, because as much as I wanted my friends there I knew it was a bad idea. The only face they should see is mine, not my friends. I'm mentally relieved that they are incarcerated and can't touch me, but I have a long way to go to getting back to where I was before this all happened. Life is never like it is in the movies no matter what anyone tells you.

The NFL and math

Lance Briggs is going to sign with the Bears. Could it be from all the noise that the NFL thugs have made this off-season, especially watching the Bears drop "Tank" Johnson without batting an eye...You bet. Making $7.2 million beats making zero by holding out. Holding out means not playing and not having access to state of the art training equipment and draining whatever savings he might have, in order to maintain his lifestyle. The math is simple $7.2 million > zero Speaking of thugs, lets face facts, thugs get by on muscle, money and reputation. I'm wondering how much "street cred" you can maintain if you aren't pulling a huge NFL paycheck. Ask "Tank" Johnson and "Pacman" Jones how much "love" they get once the money's gone. "Tank" won't be pulling a paycheck since he's been released by the Bears. "Pacman" will be spending most his money on legal defenses. But hey who am I kidding "Pacman" was spotted at a local Gentlemen's club before meeting with Roger Gooddell in New York and was seen at a Las Vegas strip club after posting bail there as well. I guess it hasn't sunk in for him yet, I wonder if it will set in when he winds up with a couple felony convictions, from either Las Vegas or Tennessee. Do the math bad attitude + poor decision making + NFL paycheck = short NFL career + criminal record Now for Ron Mexico, errrrr Michael Vick. This guy has a contract worth over $100 million and has a ten cent brain. After all this is said and done no one in their right mind will get near this guy. His NFL buddies, if they are smart won't associate with him other than in a public setting. Private meetings and parties wth Michael Vick will equate to guilt by association and mark you for the rest of your career, if not your life. For his off the field associates they won't want to get near him for fear of being observed or implicated further. Any true criminal element that Vick may have been associated with will avoid him like the plague knowing he is now being watched. In this case Michael Vick didn't pay attention to anything in college and any of the "classes" that the NFL provided players on conduct and money management. Here's the math $100 million contract + investing in dog fighting + federal indictment = no friends, more enemies and no endorsements This concludes today's math lesson class.

I'll be around

This is especially for my friends. Back in November I was shot during a confrontation with a pimp. Case went to court the gentleman in question was convicted of assault, attempted murder, brandishing a weapon and a few weapons charges since it wasn't bought through the proper channels. At any rate since he is finally going away to prison, along with 2 of his friends who tried to "convince" me that testifying wouldn't be in my best interest. The city attorney has informed me I can go back to living my life, since they are all now incarcerated. This means back to playing pool, being out and going to the clubs once again. This of course means less and less of me being here on CT. I will check this at least once a day if I can. If not it might be a few days between me checking things, but I will keep up with all of you as much as I can. It isn't that I've forgotten any of you, it's just that I'm back to having my life back, and I'm all about living it. Keep smiling and know that you are in my thoughts whether I'm here or out having fun. Always Sharky
