We can finally start the final stages of grief. The soryy SOB who murdered my sister has stopped screwing around. Today the sentencing hearing was set for one Robert Sappington. The murdering bastard who stole my sisyter from us. For 4 years he has been abusing the legal system and wasting the Benson citizens tax dollars.
I guess someone finally told him, we will never give up and will push for the death penalty.
The coward that he is contacted the DA's office and offered 25 years to life. It is a start but will never be enough!!!
On February 6, 2015 we will be in Benson Arizona and we will tell him what he destroyed, what he killed. My niece will be able to face that monster and tell him how he stole her mother from her. What she has lost, the experiences she will never have because of his cowardice, lies, theft.
His selfishness to steal from my sister and then kill her before she could have him arrested.
Frankly I hope he is tortured daily in prison and survives to relive the pain every day. Then a long time from now he can burn in the hell he has put my family through

It took Robert Sappington and Jared Larson two hours to take, kill and hide my sister's body. Here we are almost 4 years later and Sappington has been grantd another trial delay.
I wish he would grow up and be a man. He deserves the death penalty. His little helper did not cut her throat, or steal from her. He did help hide her body. He is injail for life without parole. But the instigator, the one who stole from her. Planned her kidnapping. He says she went willingly. Of course she did, her 8 yr old daughter was in the apartment. By going with that man she saved her daughters life and hhers was taken from us.
Their place of concealment guaranteed we would have nothing but bones to bury.
Their selfish cowardly act has destroyed that part of my family. A young girl is graduating high school and going to college. Never to have her mother by her side again. There re no late night ice cream fests or giggle shopping anymore.
But we have to grant another extension on HIS trial date so he has his rights protected? Who protected hers!!!!!!!
I do not men to offend. I do believe in the death penalty for heinous crimes. I am not asking for debate on it. My mind will not change, nor would I ask you to change yur beliefs.
