My Interview today!

I thought I"d share this. I'm very likely going to leave the health care field, and I have a good job lead with a group life insurance company. Let me know what you guys think. I had the interview today, as you saw from my message and I'm feeling quite positive about it. The initial interview was me and two interviewers for about 10 mins. They got a good feeling about me and they moved me on to the stage two, where me and about 8 hours were in a board room and we were shown a presentation. We each then had another one on one discussion to see if we had any questions about the work. They will call me tonight between 7:30 and 9 to let me know if I"m advanced to the third interview. The company is responsible for selling group life insurance. That means I won't just call random people trying to sell them random insurance. I will be contacting only members of the union or group who have filled in their plan request boxes who have requested consultation from somebody The job would be me setting up 20 house visits per week to discuss the plan basics offered by their union just for being a member plus the supplemental insurance that they can purchase above and beyond their needs. Here is the catch 22. I have to be licensed to sell life insurance first. They will sell me the books and help me with theo course but I have to have that credential before they can hire me. Then I havfe to pay the provincial license fee. All in all its nearly a grand up front The catch 22 is that work is currently screwing me for hours and without hours I can't put money aside to pay for that course. My boss has been especially viscious lately, and I got a really stressed voice mail from her today saying she's not making mistakes she's not making mistakes... Anyhow, I'm supposedly scheduled for nights Friday, Saturday and Sunday with the same client, but acorrdding to the clients wife she's about to have him placed in an emergency palliative care bed. He has progressed closer to his end of days and his wife is beginning to get quite worried about having him in the home now.
