Sammy Hagar And Anthony Cut out of Van Halen Game
Today 06:30
Former Van Halen stars Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony have been dealt another savage blow in their ongoing feud with Eddie Van Halen - they've been chopped out of the band's upcoming Guitar Hero videogame.
Neither singer Hagar or longtime bassist Anthony's animated images will appear in Guitar Hero Van Halen.
The rockers have since formed their own supergroup, Chickenfoot, after being scrubbed from the Van Halen line-up ahead of the group's recent reunion tour - and replaced by original frontman David Lee Roth and Van Halen's teenage son Wolfgang.
Anthony recently sparked a war of words with his former bandleader overclaims he had quit the group and hence was not welcome back.
And now neither he nor Hagar will feature as part of the lucrative Guitar Hero game, which was previewed at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles last week(ends 05Jun09).
