The weekend is coming to an end and I sit here writing about how fast this weekend seems to have gone by. Right there in front of me is my beautiful girlfriend lying in her bed. Having a nap after the steak dinner I cooked for her. She told me that no one has ever done that for her. I am baffled that no one would have done that before. She is worth every last moment of time that I spend with her.
The blues part comes with knowing that I will not be spending the night with her... Holding onto her...looking into those beautiful eyes..... I will not be waking up to her beautiful smile in the morning.
I think I am learning how to LOVE this woman. Though, I am unsure if it is too early to say those 3 words to her. Life has been in a state of turmoil for me lately, with my Grandmother passing away, moving between houses and changing jobs. The only thing that seems to remain stable is her. She tells me every day that the little things are what matter and they do not go unnoticed. She tells me in her own time how much she feels about me, does she know how much I truly feel for her?
Baby … I know you will read this shortly and I have but one thing to tell you … Its that I do luv you. You’re my stability in these times of change, and I thank you for opening my eyes to this wonderful relationship we share.
