Mother's Day
Let me start by saying I love my kids. I love them to no end. I would, have and still do more for them than they will ever know. I would not give them up for anything in the world. They are the bright spot in my life.
BUT.......
Mother's Day for me is just another day of the week, the month, or the year. It's just another day for the kids to fight and pitch fits cause they have to do chores. It's just another day for the "him" to get on my last nerve.
What would I like for Mother's Day? The same thing I have asked for for the past ohhhh 5 yrs. Since there is no money for a present...... GIVE ME A DAY TO MYSELF! The most inexpensive, the easiest, the most wanted present they could give me. Can I get that?? NOOOOO. It would be too easy and too nice a gesture for my family.
So here I sit, in my room, at my computer..... wishing.
Yup, just another day. Just like every other day of the week, the month, the year. Wishing for something different.
Hopefully, for the other Mom's out there, this will be a wonderful day. may you get what you wish for, what you deserve and even more.
