A friend from college is staying with my parents and I over summer. Now she gave birth to a little boy 2 years ago, whom she gave up for adoption (a smart call on her part, she was in foster care when she had him). Well she is a neat freak by word only and always comments on how dirty our house is but nothing to help clean up.
To get to the question. I'm here cleaning my mom's house so that when she wakes up she get to sit somewhere tidy and nice, and where's my nit-picky friend in her room on myspace. I have a feeling that when she comes down stairs tomorrow (or tonight for a cigarette), she'll think I did this for her.
I don't consider her a mother because she never cared for her son, so she doesn't get the benefits of mother's day. I was wondering if she asks about the clean house do I
A: lie and wish her a happy Mother's day
or
B: Tell the truth and make her sad even hough I won't care because she annoys the shit out of me |
