The candles flicker, in the cool summer breeze
The pain inside, is more then real
Eyes of pain, she cannot see
The world has crumbled, to its knees
Darkness falls, as the moon raises high
The pale light cascading through the sky
Each star flickers with their own brilliant light
Cold and alone, she embraces the night
Has the world gone mad?
She often wonders...
Time at a standstill
Holding on to hope
For now she shall rest
