I miss the way you use to look at me, the way you use to talk to me. The way you use to hold me so close. The way you would always tell me, things will always work out for the best.
I miss the gentleness of your touch, the softness of your skin. The feel of you hand in mine. The silkiness of your hair. The feel of your hand gainst my skin. The way you always made me feel so safe.
I miss the sound of your voice always so calm, patient, and understanding. The way your arms always fit so well around me. The way I would pretend to watch the movie, just so i could cuddle in your arms safe and warm for a longer time. The way i would have to lay in bed for hours trying to remember what I saw because I was paying all my attention to you.
I miss being able to pick up the phone day or night, happy or sad, and call you just to hear your voice. Being able to talk to you openly about anything and everything. The way you could always make me smile and laugh no matter how bad my day was going.
I miss the look in your eyes, the safety you held within. The way you would always treat me as a friend, as one of the guys, yet in the same way as a girl and your best friend. The late night phone calls about nothing at all but would last for hours.
I miss the way my heart would always skip a beat at the sound of your voice, yet the calming affect it had on me. The way you would always say my name even if i knew you were talking to me.
I miss the butterflies that i would get in my stomach, when the phone would ring or when i saw your handsome face. All those days of sitting in the gym at lunch instead of eating, to watching you play basketball.
I miss my best friend. My first Love. the guy that i fell in love with over 5 years of time, my first true best friend.
I guess all in all, when all is said and done, all i can really say is,
I just miss you!
