I'm such a dumbass. My phone rang this morning, but I was so out of it, I get that way when I sleep, I couldn't really figure out what was going on, and it was a number I didn't recognize, so that didn't help. Well, I didn't answer it. Later on, I get a voicemail...I just checked, it was the temp agency saying that they had an assignment for me, clerical work for $10 a fucking hour! OMG! $10 an hour! So I called back immediately and they had already filled the position. SHe thanked me for calling back and I told her if they had anything else, I was definitely still interested so she said OK and that they would call me. Oh I'm so pissed at myself. Why do I get that way in the mornings? Ugh. It was like I just couldn't comprehend that my fucking phone was ringing. So now I missed out on a $10 an hour assignment because of my stupidity. WTF Erica, I mean honestly. Well I have to go there later today and pick up my paycheck. Yay...it'll be for around $220 I think. I just paid Amber rent money for the month of November. I need to fill out this application I got for Spencers as a shift supervisor too. I hate this...
OH YEAH, ALSO this one place wanted to interview me...it was a children's center for children with mental handicaps. I got that phone call the same day I got the job offer for Elk through the temp agency. So I told the other place that I needed to figure out when a good time would be to come in and I'd call them back. Well I called back the very next day and a few times after that trying to set up this job interview and they never returned my voicemails...even after the woman said they were definitely still interested in interviewing me. I really wanted that job. But like, I've called sooo many times, and gotten no feedback to just SET UP AN INTERVIEW! So frustrating.
Well, I'm gonna go look for other jobs and mail out some resumes while I wait for Merry Maids to come clean the apt.
