What Up??

Check My Midget

Just A Biker

JUST A BIKER I saw you hug your purse closer to you in the grocery store line. But you didn't see me put an extra $10.00 in the collection plate last Sunday. I saw you pull your child closer when we passed each other on the sidewalk. But you didn't see me playing Santa at the local mall. I saw you change your mind about going into the restaurant when you saw my bike parked out front. But you didn't see me attending a meeting to raise more money for the hurricane relief. I saw you roll up your window and shake your head when I rode by. But you didn't see me riding behind you when you flicked your cigarette butt out the car window. I saw you frown at me when I smiled at your children. But you didn't see me when I took time off from work to run toys to the homeless. I saw you stare at my long hair. But you didn't see me and my friends cut ten inches off for Locks of Love. I saw you roll your eyes at our leather jackets and gloves. But you didn't see me and my brothers donate our old ones to those that had none. I saw you look in fright at my tattoos. But you didn't see me cry as my children where born or have their names written over my heart. I saw you change lanes while rushing off to go somewhere. But you didn't see me going home to be with my family. I saw you complain about how loud and noisy our bikes can be. But you didn't see me when you were changing the CD and drifted into my lane. I saw you yelling at your kids in the car. But you didn't see me pat my child's hands knowing she was safely seated behind me. I saw you reading the newspaper or map as you drove down the road. But you didn't see me squeeze my wife's leg when she told me to take the next turn. I saw you race down the road in the rain. But you didn't see me get soaked to the skin so my son could have the car to go on his date. I saw you run the yellow light just to save a few minutes of time. But you didn't see me trying to turn right. I saw you cut me off because you needed to be in the lane I was in. But you didn't see me leave the road. I saw you waiting impatiently for my friends to pass you. But you didn't see me because I wasn't there. I saw you go home to your family. But you didn't see me because I died that day you cut me off. I WAS JUST A BIKER.... A person with friends and a family. But you didn't see me. Repost this around in hopes that people will understand the biker community. If you don't repost this, it sucks to be you. I hope you never lose someone that rides. EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE US, PLEASE RESPECT OUR RIGHTS TO RIDE WHAT WE CHOOSE AND TAKE A FEW EXTRA SECONDS TO BE SURE WE ARE NOT IN "YOUR" WAY

Just Fred

Fred A cop stops a Harley for traveling faster than the posted Speed limit, so he asks the biker his name. 'Fred,' he replies. 'Fred what?' the officer asks. 'Just Fred,' the man responds. The officer is in a good mood and thinks he might just give the biker a break and write him out a warning instead of a ticket. The officer then presses him for the last name. The man tells him that he used to have a last name but lost it. The officer thinks that he has a nut case on his hands but plays along with it. 'Tell me Fred, how did you lose your last name?' The biker replies, 'It's a long story, so stay with me. I was born Fred Dingaling. I know - a funny last name. The kids used to tease me all the time, so I stayed to myself, studied hard and got good grades. When I got older I realized that I wanted to be a doctor. I went through college, medical school, internship, residency, and finally got my degree, so I was Fred Dingaling, MD. 'After a while I got bored being a doctor, so I decided to go back to school. Dentistry was my dream! Got all the way through school, got my degree, so then I was Fred Dingaling, MD, DDS. Got bored doing dentistry, so I started fooling around with my assistant and she gave me VD, so now I was Fred Dingaling, MD, DDS, with VD. 'Well, the ADA found out about the VD, so they took away my DDS. Then I was Fred Dingaling, MD, with VD. Then the AMA found out about the ADA taking away my DDS because of the VD, so they took away my MD leaving me as Fred Dingaling with VD. Then the VD took away my Dingaling, so now I am Just Fred.' The officer walked away in tears, laughing.
When we feel that we are nothing special When we feel that we are nothing special To someone else we are more than we know When we feel out of place There might be someone around the corner Who needs us the way we are When we are feeling down There is someone to pick us up When we are alone Just think of that someone And they are there When you feel lonely baby Remember these things To me you ARE special You mean a lot to me To me we are in a place together Even with the distance between us When you feel down I am ready to pick you up When you are alone or lonely Think of me, I am there in your heart
Never Forget the Face of Our Fathers As we grow up and learn about the world Our fathers are there to guide us on our way We learn and grow and learn and grow We learn the marks we get and the punishments were earned We learn we earn the right to go on and grow up Never forget the face of our Fathers As we grow up there are guides along the way Our father teach us how to treat others with respect We learn to treat others well We learn and figure out the way the world works We learn to treat others the way we want to be treated Never forget the face of our Fathers As we grow and learn some people never play fair Our fathers taught us to be kind We learn others never think that way We learn that fairness is there only if you take it We learn that the world goes on even without us Never forget the face of our Fathers As we grow in our later years we must learn how to be Our fathers are not there to guide us We learn as we trip and fall we are on our own We learn as the days go by the loneliness still abides We learn from our mistakes and try to go on Never forget the face of our Fathers As we grow we learn to forgive Our fathers taught us it is the best way to live We learn the world is not as it seems We learn we need to ask for forgiveness too We learn that sometimes we hurt the ones we love Never forget the face of our Fathers As we grow we ask for forgiveness and patience Our fathers taught us it is the right way to be We learn to bow down when we are wrong We learn in order to be forgiven we must forgive We learn that you can never say I Love You enough Never forget the face of our Fathers As we grow we loose the ones we Love Our father taught us it is something that always comes We learn to let them go and to be free We learn if they Love us it will be We learn sometimes it is best to let go of those you Love Never forget the face of our Fathers As we grow life moves on Our fathers taught us we move on too We learn life is too short We learn nothing is worth being angry over We learn there is more Never forget the faces of our Fathers As we grow we loose our fathers Our fathers taught us we must take their place We learn even when it is hard we must be a father We learn there are others who need to be taught We learn to remember because we should Never forget the face of our Fathers By R. Alford Stewart 14 December 2006 In memory of my Father and the ones I Love.
