THE BLOOD CLOTS IN MY BRAIN ARE 100% COMPLETELY GONE!

I posted this on March 20th on Myspace. I figured I wld post a blog here so I wldnt have to continually explain! :)
I am finally out of the hospital!! I was in there for 8 days. 6 of those days were spent in ICU! I went to the ER with numbness in my hands & feet & I could't make sence of anything! After running a CT scan & a MRI the Dr. discovered that I had 3 blood clots on the right side of my brain, one in which covered the entire right side of my brain, which caused me to have 2 strokes. The Dr. said it was a miricale that I was walking & talking, much less alive. They have heard of it but never have seen it. They think it is because I am on birth controll & because I smoked. They wont know for sure until they get my blood work back. They have me on blood thinners to keep my body from forming more blood clots. They aren't sure how long I will be on those. I have to go to the dr. 2 times a week to get my blood drawn to check to make sure my blood isn't too thin. I go back today & I pray that all is well. Thank you to eveyone who came to see me, sent me get well gifts, & kept me in their prayers. It is appreciated. I will keep you updated!

I still have the blood clots but they are startin to break up. I am on blood thinners so that will help the clots not het any bigger. as of now not much has changed. I will keep people updated.

WOOT WOOT! My Dr. visits are now every two weeks now. I go back later today as well as the neurologist soooo i will update!

So, the other day I started having the numbness & tingling in my hands & feet as well as a migraine from hell. These were the major symptoms I had previously before my strokes. We called the neurologist & set up an appointment. So, I went in yesterday & I informed her that since being out of the hospital my PT/INR level has been between the rang 2-3 (which is where they want it) only twice. most the time it is below 2 & only a few times it was above 3. Anywho, She asked if I was taking shots when my level was low. I told her no & she grew very concerned. Come to find out, the Dr who had been monitoring my PT/INR did not mention or perscribe the shots needed. Because of this, it meant the blood thinners I am taking aren't working. So, she sent me to get an "Emergency" MRI yesterday. I am still waiting to hear about my results. She also perscribe the shots that I am to start taking. It sucks! I have to enject myslf 2 times a day. The medicine BURNS! I hate it. I guess anything is better than dying. I will update when I get my results!
