So my son's rock school band has between two and three gigs a month. Originally I was recording the show so he could watch later. He's just learning how to perform and it can be useful to see how you look. I stopped a couple months ago because he was just getting over losing his voice and knew it might be rough sounding.
It turned out to be one of his best shows. I thought maybe my recording was making him nervous. He won't admit it, but I think it does.
So I haven't recorded for last five shows or so. I miss having the ability to keep something. Today is a big benefit show. Do I try to surreptitiously try to at least capture a bit or sit back and just watch? |
